Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
OK... I think I have it. There's ice-tea and two women. One drinks a smaller amount and dies but the other drinks a larger amount and lives.
They were drinking different iced-teas?
One was immune to the poison?
It wasn't the iced-tea that killed the other woman?

Two women are drinking iced tea.
One woman has five of them, the other only one.
Both drink their iced teas, but the one who only had one iced tea dies.
They were laced with the same amount of poison so why did the lady who drank one iced tea die, but the woman who drank five live?
I think! |

"There was poison in one of the iced teas each one drank. However there was an antidote in one or all of the extra four d*unk by the first woman."
That was going to be my suggestion - great minds and all that
Mind you we're both probably wrong! |

"The poison was in the ice, so the woman who drank 5 drank them before the ice melted."
I like that.
My other thought was that the one who drank 5 spent such a lot of time peeing that she expelled all the poison. |

The poison was in the ice. One woman drank her tea too quicky for the ice to melt.
Someone watches a lot of youtube videos. My 12 year old nephew loves them. |

"The poison was in the ice, so the woman who drank 5 drank them before the ice melted." but surely, if the ice melted for the woman drinking one then the ice in the other woman's cups of tea, supposing they were all fresh, would have melted 20% in each cup full meaning she drank the same amount of poison in total?

Nope the ice did not have time to dissolved in to water as the women drank five fast.
The women who only drank one the ice cubes had dissolved the poison was in the ice cubes. |
