I was woken near 2 hours ago by people having a chat.. I thought it was mid afternoon until I realised the time. I opened my front door to see what's up and they shut up and fuck off! It's not totally quiet and I'm left awake.
Don't know what you can do buddy other that keep reporting dug use, people using the house as a drug den. I doubt any house association will be bothered... maybe threaten to go to your local newspaper if you don't get an adequate response. |

For the noise nuisance report it to the Environmental Health Dept at your Local Authority. Keep a diary of what happens and when as evidence. They can lend you noise monitoring equipment to record the level of nuisance. Encourage other neighbours to complain so a case can be built against the perpetrators.
Drug dealing is the police. Just keep reporting it, |

I would move house asap. I would also check about antisocial behaviour where you move too before you decide where to move.
I had behaviour like this for years where i used to live. My children were very young. It was awful. If i complained to them they were abusive and threatening to me. The police werent interested in the drug dealing and thieving that openly went on. The council werent interested in the high noise levels causing disturbance and distress to us. The fire brigade werent interested when they exploded things causing huge, high fires. It was awful. I finally was able to move after 14 years. |

Contact various religious groups pretending to be him saying that you are interested in joining.
Hopefully he will get relentlessly pestering him to join.
Write to local newspaper telling them.
Go to your local mp open surgery where people can go along with issues.
Keep a diary.
Keep telling police.
Ask police to visit regularly.
Get others to complain.
Shit in his bin.
Be Lound during the day when he is probably sleeping. |

I had awful neighbours for 18 months..
He was a mechanic and used to fix cars at all hours of day and night, banging away and making so much noise ..
He had loads of mates who just used to hang around and intimidate me as I walked past .. it was a very noisy, scary time... he eventually moved out as he got a neighbour on the other side who was noisier that him! |

There are laws/rules/regs regarding acceptable times and levels of noise and nuiscance.
There are several bodies that you can seek advice and action from - Police, council, Noise abatement etc.....
Make an appt with your C.A.B.

We experienced this, eventually we sold up and left taking the easy route. Loved our place but now loving our new place too. I know you don't want to leave op and rightfully so, just saying you can be just as happy elsewhere if it gets too bad. Sorry to hear your plight and absolutely relate. |

And obviously don't forget that if he is dealing drugs he is receiving income without declaring it,pretty sure hmrc will be interested in this information.
Failing that.
Depending on what circles you move in, if you know any other drug dealers tell them he is undercutting them and stealing their business.
However that sounds risky.
Post a handful of locusts thru his letterbox.
Bloody nightmare as they hide all over the place and make a right racket.
Drive him crazy.
There are many other ways but it involves being a right devious bastard. |

People like this live their lives on a perpetual knife edge, sooner or later they slip up.
Either get caught by the police or other local dealer's.
You just have to be persistent in the complaints about noise.
If it's a flat chances are it's a leasehold.
Contact land registry and find out who is the lease owner.
Contact them anonymously to let them know that he is a dealer.
Report a imaginary gas leak. Make sure it's early morning so they knock early.
Contact mum's net.
Once they get their teeth in
Ouch.
Don't put yourself in danger, certainly don't threaten violence.

If he ever leaves for a week or two put a hosepipe through the letter box, get the carpet damp then blow cress and mustard seeds through a pipe,a Biro works well. Grows like a bastard. Nice surprise when they get back... |

This is what I worry about though, when you're showing new potential buyers round and they ask how are you neighbours? How the hell do you say?! |

Just reporting it to the council/landlord often results in nothing happening. You have to threaten the landlord with legal action for them allowing illegal activities on their property. If/when the neighbours from hell have children so councils are very reluctant to take action. Good luck, you'll need it. Not many authorities help good quiet folk. |

Apologies just read he owns the property. I would check though with the Land Registry. Often Police do nothing if they are small time dealers. They would rather put pressure on them as informers. Very wrong but up the Police chain they don't give a shot about the poor sods who have to live near them. Write to your MP and ask why the Police aren't taking action. |

"Love the morality of the people suggesting the OP should transfer to problem to someone else by selling "
Well if you have lived in that sort of situation for many years and recieved no help and fear for your childrens and your safety then morality doesnt takes a back seat.
My house was rented though anyway. |

The OP states they do nothing, but hasn't actually specified what facts were furnished? If they committed to every uncorobborated report of someone doing something wrong they'd be consistently be paying out compensation and being used by people to solve personal grudges?
OP have you provided evidence of this ? |

The police, council etc should have helped solve the problems but they did nothing, in fact they made it worse. Im my case the only way to solve it was to move. So i saved and saved and 14 years later i moved. I tried getting help thru the police, the council etc. As my kids got older i could no longer shield them from the horrors there. So once i could move away i did. The council moved in a family who are well known criminals. They fitted right in. To be honest though after 14 years i really didnt care about that, i just wanted safety and a nice life for my kids. |

Actually that was how it was done before. Tony Blairs labour decided that if you took the chav out the council estate then they would cease to act like scum. So they started spreading them around, the policy is called pepper potting. Spoiler alert, he was wrong. |

nobody did that round this way.
last council estate i lived on round here, so in 2003, they just shoved more of the people from the same families into the estates because nobody wanted to live in these areas (except those families as those families had no problems with each other but did have ASBO problems). and tbh if they'd moved the rest of us away from them (we all fucked off anyway) that would have been fine with us.
so that plan failed coz we have, somewhat limited, choices. but yes having more of the same shit people living in a place does make it worse. |

If they're dealing then the police will want to know.
I had this a few years back when I lived in that London with some mouthy little gobshites. I went to see their parents and the problem went away. |
