Is this unreasonable?

A girl I know said she wanted to meet me tonight at ten and then when I text her earlier on she said she would let me know if it's on. And now it's got to this time she is annoyed at me for saying forget it at half 9.
It takes half an hour to get to her and by the time I'm ready down to her messing about, it will be nearer 11.
So why should she be annoyed when I cancelled?
Am I being unreasonable? |

No, I don't think you're unreasonable. She should have come back to you much earlier - not fair to expect people to be sitting around waiting on the off chance. She's unreasonable to be off with you for saying no. |

What did she say when you said forget it? What was her reason for 'letting you know' ?

You say she said she'd let you know, did she give a reason why? When did you agree to meet at 10pm? What was she annoyed at and what did you text her saying and what did she reply. ? Sorry if I'm sounding rude, I'm not I'm just seeing your side only and you only vaguely say why she said she'd let you know, if she just said that and nothing else I'd of politely said 'don't worry we can sort another date out' |

With your side of the story op, its sounds like your in your rights if you don't want to be messed around. Some women enjoy stringing you along, if you don't like it, set boundaries and limits to what you'll put up with. |
