I'm hungry now!
White bread a must.
Crispy bacon, preferably four slices with the fat trimmed off and a good squirt of tomato sauce.
Cracked black pepper to finish.

I had two wholemeal baps with three bits of bacon and a egg each earlier in the week.
Bacon was between crispy and chewy and they were delicious.
One had tomato sauce, the other brown. Best of both worlds. |

Crispy bacon lettuce tomato and mayo in a nice soft bun for me unless it's first thing then it has to be crispy bacon, brown sauce and a runny egg in a toasted muffin |

Two if it's back bacon, 3 if it's streaky bacon. Sometimes crispy if I forget it's in the pan cooking
Runny egg
Bread (white) with a bit of butter on it as I don't like sauce. |

Two slices of seeded brown bread, lighty buttered,
Three rashers of edging on crispy bacon,
Accompanied with mustard.
In my eyes that's a perfect bacon sandwich.

I think the perfect bacon sandwich is 4 rashers of bacon. Slightly crispy on lightly buttered farmhouse bread with a little bit of brown sauce.
However I regularly make myself bacon, egg, sausage, hash brown and American cheese sandwich on bread that has been toasted and then buttered with the buttered side flash fried in a red hot pan. I put brown sauce on the bacon and a little bit of deli mustard on the sausages which I cut lengthways like a hotdog bun and open them out. |

Three slices of smoked dry cured bacon grilled to the point of the rind turning crispy then into a buttered muffin topped with plum tomatoes and plenty of freshly cracked black pepper. |
