Picking up from another thread.

In this now hi-tech world that we live in, what's your favourite piece of tech?

The iPad has to be ours, simple to use and convenient.

We thought that people who took the creases out of your clothes must own Apple.

Well they were definitely first with their I-Ron

My mobile phone. That's the only thing I couldn't see ever changing. It's found it's way as something I can't manage without. Work/contacts/diary/tools/internet etc.

Ah, but do you rely on it too much?

Do you have a back up if you were to lose it etc?

Tesla Motors.

Just wish they were more cheaper options for electric cars. Wonder how expensive the insurance will.be for a first time driver.

Just remember as with all electric cars, they are only good for 6 years.

Dread to think what a full cell replacement on a Tesla must cost, but it will need doing between year 5 and 6.

I do rely on it too much. I do have a spare phone. . My stuff is all backed up in the cloud and could transfer if needed. But....I i also do feel tethered to it. And it annoys me.

Wikibitch - she is my home made Google home assistant. Answers to her name, tells bad jokes, gives me the weather, news and radio.

Mobile phone - it's 3 years old, yet I'm still finding new uses.

Raspberry Pi - lets me build any technology I want.

3D printer - it's just cool

I love my phone but do feel I've become too reliant on it at times. Got my old one nicked just after Christmas. Hubby has taken the kids to the cinema and I was walking around the city on my own. I managed to find a payphone that works but stood there staring at it as I tried desperately to remember hubby's phone number

My phone. Listening to music while walking to work and I've just booked gig tickets at the same time.

It's a thing of wonder.
