My rant thread threw up another topic.
How do you view the forum, is it strictly friends zone or FAF?
Do you only meet from the forum?
Do you only meet outside the forum?
A mix of the 2?
Which is more straightforward?
Do you feel like it's time for a change?

Count on one hand the number of forum peeps we'd meet.
Probably exactly the same when switched around, not many would meet us, so it pretty much evens out  |

I have meet 4 Women who use/used the forums, 2 was just a social and 2 resulted in us having sex, But I have also met Women who use the chat rooms,
Its a mix of them really, I haven't met anyone who just uses fab in general,
In fact I rarely even chat to Women who don't use the forums/chat rooms |

Bit of both. The meets i have had are with both forum and non forum members...my current my friends list is nearly all forum folk... and most of them I definitely FAF with! |

I think with peeps from the forum you can tell a bit better if you're gonna get on, because you can see their interaction with others too, and can see if their personality comes over as consistent.
I do go to clubs, not necessarily to "get some". I just feel safer. I worry about going to a normal club in case my drink gets spiked or something. I don't have that worry at the clubs of an adult nature |

If it wasn't for the forums I'd never meet!
I've gone off piste a few times and only ever had one meet from it.
All my other meets have been with people from the forums or people who lurk but don't post on here.
Before I UNLOSed I had 24 veris in about 2 and a bit years all thanks to the forums! 
They all want to bloody friend zone me though ...  |

I think there have been 2 people in 6 years that I've met that have used the forum. One turned into drama and I've no clue what happened to the other. I steer clear of drama and I have no inclination to become the next forum thread subject. ..oh, And there's far more choice away from the forum given that a very low percentage of the whole site actually use the forum. |

I've met from both but I'll be completely honest I was a bog standard fab bloke (careful now) before being reedjumacated by the forum.
This year I've only met from the forum and they were all lovely. Even those that ran off |

And I have no desire to change the way I do things. Why make things hard on myself? I'm certain that those that use the forum wouldn't want to meet me either as I don't play their games |

I think a mix of both. It's nice to get to know people a bit more on the forums. A lot of our meets have been because we've been seen on the forums even if they don't post.
And yes there are lots I'd friend zone there are a good few I'd faf x |

I don't actively seek to meet anyone but the forums have proven a good place to find temptation. I like how you get a glimpse into someone's personality. |

I've met a couple of forumites for socials in the past but I don't think I would meet anyone off here for sex...
if I am looking, which isn't often, I usually do a search or go and chat in the chatrooms..  |

I've met a couple of people from the forums. The diatance can be a pain for forum people though. However, there are a select few I would happily drive the distance for.
I've met more people away from the forums, either through Fab or in clubs. |

I have only met one who uses the forum the rest have just been through searches etc. Id meet more from here (i perv on a couple) and if it went weird just ignore their posts but im not a mega poster anyway! X |

I tend to use fab as a means of keeping in touch with people I've met in clubs these days.
I've only met one person from the forums so far and he is a lovely guy. I would definitely meet others from here but distance is the biggest problem. |

Yeah I can sometimes but I do get a bit bored of the usual "fancy a chat" intro messages with nothing on the profile showing who they are. The forums let me see a bit of personality before that first message. Plus 9 times out of 10 a message from a forumite comes relating to a thread on here so conversation kinda has a subject from the start. |

It takes quite a lot to become friend zoned by me, people generally start in that position, and few leave it.
My favorite thing is to learn about people, so I like PMs...although you know that Pinky

I meet outside of the forums.
I like popping in here when I need to zone out.
On the odd occasion there's someone with a sense of the absurd who seems quite balanced.
Mostly it's inhabited by people who want to get apoplectic in as sanitary an environment as they can. |

I've mostly met people from the chatroom, where I've enjoyed their banter and a bit of rapport has developed. Not always for play.. In fact most of my meets have been social.
I've yet to meet an active Forumite.... But that's going to change next month (holding you to that hug OP) 
I've rarely met anyone purely from exchange of mail alone... I think this is because I like to see how they interact with other people... Not just with me... You get a truer picture that way... |

met a fair few from the forums - some purely social and have now become personal friends - some have attracted my and met as playmates (mostly women who have gone on to meet up at the ladies events ) and some i have met at clubs and home with friends |

For me fab is not all about sex it used to but life evolves i love the social aspect too and meeting new people. One of the reasons i got into swinging in the first place is i am a girl of a certain age, friends settling down married kids so friendship circle decreases etc and i still want to go out and have fun discovered swinging and fab and not looked back x |

I don't meet from the forum and i don't really friend anyone from the forum (or the site). Why? Because it's drama waiting to happen. I witnessed it on the last site i was on, and i've witnessed it here. I don't do drama.
I have folk i chat too from around the site obviously, and they are not necessarily potential meets, but they are not friends either.
I'm anti-social and introverted. A lone wolfette, prowling the corridoors of Fab.

When I first joined I met mostly from the forums. Now I prefer to meet off. If I do meet forumites I do not make it public and I ask that they do the same if it's not a social meet. |

The forum is practically the only reason I stay in Fab. It represents probably 95% of all the interaction I get from anyone in here, all of which is cyber, ie, I have never met any forumites.
I have used other sites alongside Fab, with better (actual meet) results, but none have a forum for general banter.

I'm not sure I do. Communication via PM is one to one. On here I get a wider view of how they communicate with others, especially those they don't want to flatter into sex.

I think some of the ladies take the forums too personal, they don't realise the forum is just a debating ground where people throw different views.
They immediately have their hands block button, blocking people they might never meet, I am different on the forum than in person and I don't take it personally. I guess there might be a lot of unhappy feelings from previous relationships and they bring it on to the forums, for me it's all fun |

I meet people on the forums for socials. I enjoy that aspect of the site and it's led to a few friendships.
I rarely see anyone on the forum I'd meet for sex and I'm sure people view us the same way. I don't rule it out, though. |

Everyone I chat to has been via the forums - both those that I just 'chat' to and those I've met for a social or more.
I find them a great way of getting a 'feel' for someones personality beyond the profile blurb. |

My 4 month break over the Winter did me the world of good my friend! If you do decide to take a break my advice is don't UNLOS, just park the profile.
You will be missed though, you're a really decent chap! But a break can be good for the soul! |
