Have you ever seen a movie and thought why is this in that genre?
This seems to happen for movies that are classed as horror even though there doesn't seem to be anything to class it as a horror movie.
For me, movies like The Purge and Don't Breathe are not horror movies. They are more on the lines of a psychological thriller. A thriller can be just as scary as a horror. What puzzles me is how is a movie about legal murder and movie about a blind man killing burglars considered as horror?
Horror movies are supposed to be about individuals being put into an extremely unlikely situation where they try to survive an antagonist of a supernatural origin. These movies don't fit in that genre at all.
What are your thoughts? Any movies misplaced in genres you want to talk about? |

The movie Seeking a Friend At The End of The World didn't seem to feel like a comedy to me. This movie looked too depressing so it probably would have fit more as a romantic drama. |

"I don't see how 'Mrs Browns Boys' can be in the comedy genre
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that
Well that's at least three of us!! "

I wouldn't mind it's that shit! They couldn't even find a comedienne to play Mrs Brown, he had to do it himself! |
