Some profiles have face pics in private gallery and others send face pics by private message or e mail. which is safest ?

Having them in private (unless you add dizenns of randoms) is pretty much the same as choosing to email them.You still control who sees them.

I have been reliably informed no matter how ugly you are you cannot be sued for damages by someone viewing your picture so both methods are safe for you.
