Just unloaded the washing machine and was just picking the first item out of the basket and couldn't help thinking that it felt rather dry for a garment that had just been washed.
So I checked all the others.
All bone dry - and looked just the same as they did when I loaded the machine this morning.
So I retraced my actions this morning.
I remember putting the detergent and softner in. Selecting the correct program and temperature.
But that's as far as I got. I'd actually forgotten to switch the bloody thing on.
Whoops.
Oh well, better late than never.
Anyone else had moments like this lately, or should I consider finding myself a care home? |

Erm... I poured myself a cup of tea the other day and it was stone cold. Not only had I not boiled the kettle, but I hadn't even turned it on at the plug.  |
