Don't have any tattoos but wore a temporary tattoo recently at a fancy dress party and loved it.
I'm looking at using them more on normal nights out.
Whats peoples thought on them?
What would you think if you saw someone with one at a nightclub or swingers club?

Are you talking about transfers, or those sleeve type things?
If you like the look of a tattoo on you, why not get a real one done?

Transfers... I thought about it a while back and glad I didn't as I hate the design i was looking at. I probably will get one at some point but I do enjoy playing about with different styles, but is it tacky and do people look down on those wearing temporary tattoos? |

"they're just like make-up really, so nothing wrong with using them.
Think thats why I'm loving them because I'm playing about with different styles than I'm used to. "
glad you're having fun with them.
i don't think they're tacky obviously. love tattoos, even badly done ones sometimes. |

Certainly wouldn't have a problem with it, if it was me I might be concerned about it rubbing off, or floating away in the hot-tub.
Both of our tattoos took a lot of time to decide what we wanted, and finalise our designs. They are there for the rest of your life, so best not rushing into something that you'll regret later.

Temporary has it's uses though.
How many people have had tattoo's and regretted it?..loads.
The only reason I haven't got any tattoo's is my own fear of regret, I'm the only in my circle without any tatts.
Temporary Tattoo's gives you the chance to see if you're really going to like it, I'm getting full sleeves down both arms, but I'm getting them "Faked out" first. |

I'm probably going to get blasted for this but whatever- you asked for opinions.
I think they're for kids, in all honesty. If an adult said to me they wore fake tattoos I would think it was odd. |

I'm not entirely sure what sort of quality of fake tattoo we're talking about but if it's the sort I'm think of then I'm with you. Glittery or metallic ones at a festival maybe but otherwise not a fan. |

'inkwear' do a lot of temporary tattoos plus they will do custom designs, too. Partner had one done on Brighton pier (pic on profile) which was 'jagua' as opposed to henna (no, I'm not quite sure what 'jagua' is either!) but it lasted a good few weeks. |

My wife went into proper tattoo studio and asked for a temporary ink tattoo. The male artist drew a beautiful rose on the inside of her thigh - right at the top. It didn't last long but looked very realistic. |

I have only just recently discovered temporary tattoos and really enjoy wearing them as accessories to my outfits on nights out to clubs and parties.
There is a photo in my public gallery of a flower design on my arm, the quality of this I think is excellent, it even has the shading! I had many compliments on it when I wore it, but 2 days later I had to remove it as where I had placed it on my body didn't stand up to it being in undamaged condition after a couple of nights sleep! So I've taken to wearing them on the inside of my arm now, and they last a good 5 days before they look like I should remove them. Pretty cheap too from eBay, and lots of designs to choose from.
I consider them a form of makeup or fashion accessories, and never pretend they are the real thing! |
