had a guy i really liked on here do just that and i went right off him. i can understand why people do it but it's too immature for me to respect the person after that. |

Lying or being dishonest for some reason. Also rude people, cannot stand rude people. The amount of time I flip in my head during a day is ridiculous. How hard is it to say thanks for opening a door?  |

Couldn't agree more! Being a person who is loyal and does so much for others do you find you find it is easier to spot when people don't show the same levels to you? |

some people i bother with know. and that's only because they were after sex so i told them about this place, otherwise why would i tell anyone i'm looking for sex on a fuck site?
sex lives are personal anyway and most people would not be expected to declare theirs to anyone. |

 A lot of the reasons people give for losing respect sound to me one-dimensional and unforgiving at best, self-important and drama-inducing at worst. There are plenty of traits I don't like in people but above all I can acknowledge we are all different and fallible and we all have our faults. I think a more apt title might be "behaviours I won't forgive in someone". An irony to have acts of immaturity and selfishness listed so many times on this thread  |

People who try to come across as better than others, and who can't help but sneer at others who don't attain their lofty heights of behaviour. There are a fair few on here who I've lost respect of after reading one sentence of a post they've made. Its very disappointing finding out some people consider themselves better than the rest of us for the most spurious reasons. |

If someone I knew asked me if I was on here I would tell them, but I don't tell my friends about it, not telling someone something doesn't make you a liar, giving a mistruth when asked for the truth does.

I think actually it takes a lot for me to stop having respect for someone.
I can disapprove of their choices or behaviour but it needs to be something major for me to lose respect, once I do they are gone. |

I've been lied to, and quite badly. The one thing that hurt me the most was not what it was they had lied about. But the fact they never trusted that i would understand why they did it. I think that's what a lot of people don't get. |

Rudeness, condescension, deception and aggression are generally things that put me off people in general.
I had the phrase "Manners cost nothing" taught to me from a young age, and if someone cannot take the time too treat others with basic respect i tend not too have time for them, life is too short too entertain duplicitous people or game players. |

Erm. I'm not sure. Reading a few of these posts I think I probably treat people with respect but don't respect them as such? I respect them as much as a random person on the street but that's about it apart from a handful who I know and I feel are deserving of it.
And general twuntery makes that handful become even fewer. |

I agree. Some of responses here seem to be more along the reasons why would you dislike someone, or lose trust or faith in them. |
