"The beach party at Chams xx "
I am looking forward to it too as it will be interesting to meet people not in my local area on here.
However a break in the sun first is on the agenda.

Crete? Oh what a great place!
I never usually visit a place twice, but with Crete, I'd make that an exception.
It's truly wonderful!
As for what I'd hope for... just an employer who'll give me a job! |

"Looking forward to getting back out to Spain now our offer for the apartment has been accepted.....just the minefield of Spanish property law to plough through now.
Good luck with that. "
We have to appear before the office of the Mayor of Tarragona within Six weeks, this is because we are buying in the old quarter of the city.
Non Spanish citizens are rarely permitted to buy property in Tarragona old quarter, so we have to tread very carefully and take a respected resident of the area with us....which of course costs. |

I'm sure it'll be worth all the hard work and financial outlay once you've signed the contracts and have the keys in your hands.
As one of my ex-bosses used to like to say, "keep your eyes on the prize". |

I saw that happen in an episode of Benidorm. Luckily the mayor was Keith Barron so he smoothed it over. You might hit on lucky and get another chirpy Yorkshireman waiting for the backhander |

LOL
Although are you sure that wasn't Duty Free, with Gwen Taylor as his long-suffering wife? |

Not that lucky....they are Catalans up in that part of Spain, they make their own laws up as they go along I think.
We have already had to wine and dine our local resident 'sponsor' on several occasions, and my other half has had to get him and his son in law seats at the Emirates stadium for when they come over in October for the weekend.
But the place is so worth it....and found out this morning that we have sold our house over here so we can soon downsize to a smaller place in Devon. |

Lol well that I don't know. When he said to me 'oo its gonna be another warm day tomorrow' I thought he was going to say let's have a BBQ, I wasn't expecting 'let's go to the woods, you wear a summer floaty dress and ill tie you to a tree and lick your pussy'. He's a very adventurous man since swinging and I'm not complaining.
Have been to Crete before and loved it. This time we are staying in a tiny greek village, away from the hustle of a resort, with a beautiful secluded cove and beach. I hope ill be ok as I'm one for hustle and bustle and people and shops etc |
