My elderley neighbour has died he has no realatives his home was cleaned by council & is empty now but his mobilty car is still outside dont think anyone is aware it was his ..

Do i phone the council & inform them

or phone up a scrap dealer and do deal with him to split the value of the car between us

Even though he's passed, that car isn't yours to make profit from.

The car will now belong to the company he got it from.

I was going for just using it. Speeding tickets would be in the dead guy's name. It might even have a blue badge and I can park everywhere for free. Obvious, right?

I am assuming you're joking, you do realise Motability is a charity? I expect when his benefits stop they'll soon be trying to retrieve it.
