Ok Fabsters, I'm off on holiday at the end of the month and as I'm a little bit lazy (and busy) I thought I'd get this up early to allow me time to decide what new books I should be looking for. I'm into thriller, detective page turners.
Please could I have your recommendations?  |

"Probably not the right genre but I enjoyed 'the secret wife' by Gill Paul.
Failing that I'd go for gone girl, the girl on the train (if you've not already seen the film) or sometimes I lie.  "

I've heard these are really good too 
Never heard of this author - is he any good?
Not sure yet, I've yet to read his books "

tana French has really good ones- crime but not only action. feelings and intentions of the detectives are always very interesting.
no idea how the books are called in English though... but I enjoyed them all so far. |

Another vote for Peter James here - doesn't overly matter but would recommend starting from the first.
Another one would be Mark Billingham's series of Tom Thorne books - similar to Peter James but recommended. |
