I'm on a train at the moment and need to get a bus after. Problem is the strip on my card is damaged so I can't get money out for the bus.
The journey I needed to take is only about four miles between the towns so I'll probably just walk it.
All of this just to Vote! The price of democracy eh?
I was joking with myself (nobody else would listen) about hitchhiking. Is it a thing nowadays? Has anybody actually done? Is there an unspoken 'cash or ass' type deal?
Ok the last question wasn't serious - or is jay and silent bob telling truths? |

Cash or cock?
I've picked hitchers up, had a shag as well, plus a few laughs. Also in Ireland a lot.
People are generous to help others out. Or stop someplace like a petrol station and ask nicely, so you're not an unknown person at the roadside.
We should organise a fab hitch hiking contest - most miles and shags wins. |

I've picked hitchers up occasionally, if I've figured it worth the bother for them. No point picking me up to get a couple of miles further along the same road before punting them out the door again. |

"The last time I hitch hiked was 1987 and the guy who picked me up certainly didn't want to let me have the trip for free.
. Glad I walked!"
Don't worry, nothing untoward happened |
