At least it's not as bad as my current predicament, the washer and the dishwasher both not working. Such a coincidence I thought maybe it was the drains. However it wasn't, but I now have super clean drains, no that's not a euphemism. Both appliances still not working, my neighbour is doing my washing and I've rediscovered marigolds, happy days |

It started out with the drum not turning.
I've drained it and it the door still won't open. So I've pulled it out and unplugged it now and I'm just crossing my fingers.
No warranty no nothing.
I'm speechless.
Here's hoping it does what the telly did this morning and come back to life coz it feels sorry for me. |

Are they plugged into the same socket by any chance. My dishwasher andxwashing machine are both in the same socket under my sink and both stopped working. I ran an extension lead from another socket and tried them and they're fine. Having them both running together must have burned the socket out. I put a new socket on and only use one at a time now. |

I know I'm blonde but I do have more than one brain cell lol. They're in separate rooms, the kitchen and the utility. It's ok I have diagnosed the problem on both machines, one has a leak and the other needs a new pump. The engineer was very impressed with my diagnostic skills. Just wish I hadn't let them both not working at the same time mislead me |

Just a thought....
Do you think there's not enough power getting to it?
Coz for my telly to black screen then live again, and the washer to do fuck all, then attempt it. It's a bit of a fucking coincidence.
Like, is it possible that there's not enough electric coming into the house? |

It did a turn.
Just one.
is it making any scraping noises?
i'd leave it to cool down all day or something if it isn't, if it is scraping then it's probably fucked."
Could be the belt?? (no I wasn't hinting on bdsm..lol ) |

yeah. don't see why that's not possible. maybe the wind blew down power lines near you or you have some dodgy wiring? |

Sounds like the plug needs a new washing machinefficiency. Jokes
Have you been sitting on it everytime it does a spin cycle?
Might have one do a little hand action for a while. x
Hope it fixes itself. |

I presume your happy with it its just the water above I,d be thinking about. |

One of the most common faults is the water level sensor gets blocked. Take the covers off and look for a small round thing with some wires and a thin tube connected to it.
Pull the tube off and blow into it to clear any build up of soap and fluff then reassemble. |

It might only be a broken belt. The motor runs but the drum does t turn. Get a reputable appliance repair guy to look at it. |
