the land of saints & sinners

Do people here actually read profiles..

In mine I have put "By the power of Greyskull" in the subject line if you want to send me a message.

Yet I have had every subject title but that over the years....

People tend to ignore those type of demands tbh it comes across as a bit diva like.

My subject line request is supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek...

As I thought of asking for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

would be being a bit Diva....

Very rarely it seems. The amount of times I get a message, a conversation starts, and then I get "Oh..." after they finally read my profile

If you meant it as tongue in cheek then why complain when people treat it as tongue in cheek and not follow it? Lol.

And it's not *what* you ask to put in, but *the fact* you specify a subject line that is diva-like.

I find it's around a 30/70 split on who reads and who doesn't. You can always tell. But I've had some really nice personalised messages around my profile.

Some do but it doesn't mean they understood the content or often they choose to simply ignore what they've just read because it doesn't fit with what they have in mind .

Yep! I've had that 'oh!' too .. and then it's MY fault despite them messaging me first and it being there in black and white from the outset ..

Well judging by my still received messages I am guessing not!

your imagination

I gotta admit... despite its epic length, I think most people do read actually read mine. Since I buried a request somewhere amongst my inane wafflings for people not to send pics of their genitals, its pretty much worked... I extremely rarely get them anymore.... Like maybe twice in 3 months... I no longer feel apprehensive opening mail with attachments

It's not a complaint at all

Hence the smiley face at the end of the message....

I'm just looking for people's views, experience and discussion...

I know when people have taken the trouble to read my profile...

But I don't take myself seriously here...

Mine gets read.

I get more comments on my profile than I do of anything else. Hence why my personality and wit are my best features

Pretty much spot on I think, either that or they've blatantly lied about reading it.

Not many read our profile

We even reduced it by 80 percent but guess it's still to boring and long

Also it's women who feel they need passwords men are lucky if they get messages let alone a profile read. xx

Wether folk read our profile or not is up to them, because I took the time and effort to write it I'm certainly not going to answer messages from anyone that clearly hasn't bothered to read it.

You are implying people message you. Men don't get messages on here it is common knowledge

And no people actually never read mine, if they do they don't understand it.

I read profiles, but refuse to use the code word when messaging. I don't jump on request, not because I have a vagina but because I'm a stubbon bitch

We find a profile bio more of a turn on than the pics, if there is something to read of course

It's a defining factor. Personally I prefer a bit of a connection so before messaging someone I make sure the bio has some substance, it's especially important if you're hoping for a social first.

Over the years I have had many messages though probably not as many as single women and couples

96% if not more are from men offering me a bj.

Though I do get the occasional message from a couple and the odd rare one from a "single" woman.

I'm just waiting for that elusive message with that subject title.... Lol

Though I could be here a while....
