Last night Fmuma slipped while picking up a broken glass
the stem of the glass went into her hand just under the right thumb
Its damaged the tendons and this morning she is in surgery and has been told it may be serious enough that she may loose the use of her thumb
I came up last night from Stoke ta shout at her lol cause shes never bloody right and was postin on the forums whilst waiting for the ambulance
However this afternoon should be pretty quiet while shes under lol xx  |

It goes without saying that all of us on here wish her well and hopes for a speedy recovery! 
However, has the hospital thought about increasing their budget with regards to "danger money" to be paid to the poor nursing staff who are going to have to cope with her?   |

Hope she is ok, as i posted previously, i also damaged my thumb just before Christmas last, being stubborn i didn't go to hospital, but instead went to the doctors 3 months later, which after an x ray said the tendons were damaged on, i can still bend my thumb as normal, but not in the full range of motion, i expect they'll be able to do more to repair it at the hospital, so hope the op goes alright..

Then i took her back at 8 this morning so she was swearin at home lol xx |

She dropped the glass with some in it

Soapy - every cloud has a silver Lining - with injuries like that it's quite common that she could get lockjaw - which means shell have to write down all the sweary words left handed and there's only one place for that - YouTube !!!!!

Well shes out of theatre now and is eating and drinking
Have spoken to her and shes feelin ok
Shes a little pissed off that because of the time they wont let her come home but other than that shes fine
Although im gonna have ta watch it cause they have plaster casted it lol xx |
