Since someone asked me this today I'll put it out to the masses!

If you could invite anyone dead or alive for dinner who would it be?

I made him let me say 2 so i could have my mum and dad so I'll be generous and let you invite 3 x

"Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft and Nikola Tesla"

Thinking on, I have no idea if the first two would get on with the last.

So...

Poe, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgson

A different dinner party I'd invite Tesla, Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace.

Ooh, now I don't know.

Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and Francis Bacon would be interesting.

Would only two guests turn up?

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

Terry Prachett. For the pure wild fantasy ramblings you could have.

David Attenborough. Don't need to justify that. The man is a legend.

And Bill Bailey, he'd complement them both and no doubt musically entertain with random oddballness

My Gran - she died when I was 8 and was severely disabled, I never knew her when she was well and I was a little scared of her and didn't really have a bond with her so would love to give her a hug and apologise for all the times I never did.

My Dad's parents that died before I was born for obvious reasons

I'd like to be greedy and have a fourth and include my Nanny (she wasn't my actual Nan but a great great Aunt or something) just because she meant the absolute world to me as a child.

Now I'm feeling all sentimental and soft.

My great great grandmother on my father's side to find out why she was such a bitch to my grandad.

My great grandad on same side to find out why he was such a cunt.

My great grandma on same side to find out who she left the cunt for.

And last but not least my great grandma/aunt to find out why she married said cunt after her sister had left him and why she then thought she could treat my grandad like shit
