"Yes, a phone can be hacked just as easily as any PC that is unprotected.
Like PC tools, it is quite easy to find apps that will help stop those invasions.

I like to buy my phone with cash and pay cash for top ups for internet use, usually big denominations no where near where I actually live, then keep it switched off with the battery removed while not using it!.
All this for an unpaid speeding ticket.. |

things can be hacked by others having access to them.
so physically present with the item itself or something you have downloaded allows them to access it.
i never download anything to my devices, more to save on memory and space so my devices run faster, but i also use things like adblockers to stop unwanted stuff fucking up my devices too.
if you think you have been hacked first thing you need to do is work out how. then remove that problem.
cba to pm you. the fact that you've been hacked (if you have been) means you should start learning how to prevent this happening again. |

Depends. If you have a screen lock with a pin and encryption on your phone it's pretty safe. Encrypted sd card too or someone could just take that out and scam stuff from it if they wanted. Need to know more about the context really to say. |

a good start is checking all your apps and what it wants from your phone. For e.g if an app like a torch app requires access to your location, camera or photos. I would start asking questions why.
Also avoid signing in to apps/websites/emails using Facebook. It's a quick and easy way for hackers to get your passwords. |
