when i meet people whenever its for the 1st time or 2nd i still like to dress to impress
like decent underwear and some nice clothes nice shoes.(ok if i'm meeting eveshamgirl i wont as she will nick em lol)
im wondering how many people dont try just turn up in anything, like jogging bottoms or a tatty jumper and then think thats ok for a 1st meet?
or am i being picky???  |

as long as you are clean and your dress is appropriate to the situation then there is no issue for me in what you are wearing
ie if coming round to mine, casual wear is fine. if meeting outside, then smarter casual.

I'm a take me as you find me kind of person, most comfy in jeans. Don't feel comfy in skirts or dresses unless they are floor length and cover everything!! but that's a self depreciation thing with me...
However, my favourite item is a black leather zip and buckle dress!!! |

I'm perfectly happy in casual clothes, but it is nice to smarten up sometimes and personally it makes me feel good.
I wear a shirt and tie with jeans and suit jacket quite regularly, and I will also wear a waist coat with a tie to accompany jeans and nice shoes. |

some people could wear a bin bag and look good - i could wear a hugo boss suit and still look a twat.
dress appropriately to your body shape and what you feel comfortable in.
i wear shirts and pants all week for work so my weekend wardrobe consists of jeans, cargo pants and shorts.
i have 1 or 2 casual summer shirts but the majority of my wardrobe is rugby shirts, hooded sweat-tops, polo shirts and t-shirts.
i don't have 1 pair of smart shoes apart for those i wear for work - weekend is for trainers, boots or north face walking shoes.
so i guess i'm fucked if i am ever expected to dress up  |

You are not picky at all. I always dress nice if i am meeting anyone and expect the same. It shows a that some time and consideration has been made for others. |

so irregardless of how long someone had spent in the bathroom beforehand, washing, scrubbing, plucking, preening, cutting, trimming, adding them finishing touches prior to a meet, unless they turn up wearing clothing that 'looks like they have made an effort' then it goes no further than drinkypoo's ? |

but if you like people who have made an effort thats fine as well.

I will dress comfortable, for me that is, during the day jeans and a fitted t, usually with trainers. At a night time, more appropriate.
If I dress up, I feel uncomfortable, and that shows in the way I react to people.
I usually wear something pretty underneath though, even just for a social meet, just in case!!! |

anyone expecting brogues, chino's / slacks and a blazer style jacket, count me out !

I dont see the problem with smart jeans and a decent t-shirt the majority of my t-shirts are in excess of 50 quid so whys that worse than a £5 shirt from Burtons if thats what fashionable |

i met a very nice man last week who, after reading that i like a many to wear jeans and a nice shirt actualy made the effort to do so when he would usually wear jeans and t shirt etc
doesnt seem like much, just putting a shirt on but i think it shows great respect for the person you re meeting to look nice for them |

i dont wear knickers so that wasnt the driving factor
he actually said, as he was leaving, he wanted to look nice for me, and to be honest if he had of worn a t-shirt i wouldnt have noticed because he was a lovely man and thats what counts most of all! |

Always dress to impress, as you only get one chance at 1st impressions. If we where to meet someone whether it be coffee or other and they turned up in joggers, tatty jumpers it would be a polite hello and goodbye. |

Do I dress to impress, hmm I don't make a deliberate conscious effort to dress differently because I always dress up. I'm not really a casual dressed type person. I don't walk around in evening dress all the time, but I am always in a dress or skirt and shoes or sandals. I would only wear jogging things to the gym, that goes for trainers too, its just gym wear, wouldn't dream of wearing it other than to those places.
I'm not a lover of jeans either, and I don't own a sweatshirt. I put it down to my upbringing. I am the only girl, long awaited too, so I was always dresed in pretty girly things. Never really had trousers as a child and my mother was a bit of a clothes horse, she was always immaculately dressed. I am certainly more casual than my mother ever was, but Ill never be a jeans and tshirt type girl. |

forgot to say, that it doesnt matter about the price of the clothing as some £5/6 shirts, t-shirts ect look as good as the ones at £30/40. Its not as if we are going to ask how much an item of clothing cost or have the price tags on display lol. I love a man in jeans and t-shirt, its a classic look |

Whilst I'm not a casual type of person, I like guys that are. I don't mind jeans and tshirts or shirts and trousers or suits.
I don't like old fashioned clothes, if the guy was really lovely and I liked him then it wouldn't change the fact I'd play with him if we wasn't dressed fashionably but I'd notice. I don't like guys in really high trousers or grandad style cardigans.
I wouldn't like a guy to turn up in a football shirt or a jokey slogan tshirt - something like 'bring back hairy pussies', I wouldn't be that impressed. |

I'd venture to say that an items cost is immaterial as long as you are wearing something appropriate for your shape and circumstances. On a first meet if you're gym fit and turn up wearing clean, fresh gym gear at a pub for a cheeky pint or two and a natter well alls fine. Turning up wearing a crotchless spiderman outfit at a restaurant is summit else 
Ultimately its about respecting the other people you're meeting who may well have made an effort, and as we are all trying to get into each others pants a bit of effort goes a long way |

I think what is more important is that the person is clothed. If they feel good they will look good.
I dress in what I am comfortable for the venue nothing more.
I tend to fuck people naked so their clothing is kinda irrelevant. If they were dirty it wouldn't matter what they were wearing.

most guys when arranging a meet wlil ask "what you going to wear for me" and expect the full lingerie deal... corset/basque/stockings/suspenders/heels, etc, but they are more than happy to turn up in jeans and a t-shirt.

If i were to be meeting someone outside of my home i would be smelling nice and clean and presentable. I wouldnt be all basques and stockings...
Dont wear trousers as me ass to big and looks horrid...so a nice dress and sandels etc.
As long as you can see someone has made an effort ...shaved and showered etc (man) then what they wear is a small part of things |

There's nothing as hot as a sexy lady in a tightly fitted business suit in my opinion. |
