"To take my shoes off when I enter someone's house.
As a plumber I get major brownie points with customers for doing this without being asked first. "
I don't want stinky feet near me. Keep them on at my house. |

"stay the fuck away from alcohol and smoking". I didn't listen to the alcohol bit but I did listen to the smoking one since my granddad got lung cancer and died, then shortly after, my friends dad got throat cancer from smoking. Never touched a fag |

"Your parents taught you which is invaluable to you...
Don't become an alcoholic
This was a serious post. They were a nightmare. "
I understand this completely. Lost my dad when he was just 52 due to alcoholic liver disease. My mum is in very poor health now too. Didn't have the childhood my friends had, my boys haven't had the grandparents they deserve. Its shit. |

To love unconditionally. Whether we were right or wrong my parents always had my siblings and my back.
And my Dad always said people who swear every other word have nothing interesting to say. That's always stuck with me. |

They're a pain in the ass, especially if you're just popping round to look at work.
Only use for them is when the bottom of my trainers are cleaner than the house I'm working in... |
