Because some - like me - block single men and proactively search instead. And I also do in stealth mode 
If they've looked at you, they'd message if interested. |

Yeah they really need to do something about that cos it's stupid.
All it means is that person has filters on that block men from messaging them.
I have all my filters on and do the searching and messaging myself.
Doesn't mean I'm not looking for guys. |

Its an automatic thing that's put on when people filter out single men. Doesn't mean they don't want to meet them.
I did post on the site help forum once asking why it happened as, when I filter couples and single women, it doesn't say 'not looking for couples/single women'. The response I got was 'because'. |

Who cares? People can do what they want on here but as others have said, they probably block to avoid hundreds of messages and do the searching themselves. |
