We have a large, modern military, a sophisticated police force (which were on the scene at London Bridge in two minutes), and a robust, fair judicial system, largely free of corruption. Whilst attacks like the ones tonight are awful, they are nothing compared to what happen abroad. This is somewhat routine in Kabul, Tripoli or Dhaka. | |||
