"How much pain have cost us the evils that have never happened?"

-Thomas Jefferson.

My interpretation of this is that we can worry about something and cause undue stress for something that may never happen. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Do you often needlessly worry? Have there been times where you worried yourself for nothing?

I admittedly am a worrier though, annoyingly, I am often the first person to rationalise a situation for someone else and tell them not to worry.

yes I've worried over silly things in the past. Often.

Saying things totally innocently but the other party totally misinterpreting it. I've worried about that lots.

As I get older I let things wash over me more.

I read something good the other day: if it won't matter in a years time, don't spend any more than 5 minutes worrying about it now!

That's a good philosophy to have

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have been a worrier (and sometimes I still am). I just try and remember that worry changes nothing and try to find the thing that might make a difference.

I'm not a worrier as such.

Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere

I've suffered with anxiety since I was a child. It plagues me.

I had a bad bout of anxiety last year after some crap at work.

It was horrible and after realising what it was I realised I had suffered from it for year.

While I'm better now, it still hangs about
