You can't help but admire the guy but he was a prick sometimes. He called Joe Frazier an "Uncle Tom". No need for that. Frazier was great. He preached hate towards whites. And he was a draft dodger. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. |

I saw Michael Parkinson do a live talk on him this week.
Parky clearly found him fascinating - genius sportsman, massive character, but also deeply flawed and capable of being a horrible guy.
That last interview they did in 1981 is a difficult watch. Unbelievable to think he boxed after that. |

I didn't and still don't belive in a lot of what he stood for..but as a man and an athlete he will never be surpassed..his self belief and heart in the ring is stuff of legend. There will never be another Ali. |
