OK, so last week I burned my arm on my oven rack, today I burned my finger on my curling wand.
All the pain! I use germolene as it has an anesthetic in it to numb the pain, but it's not the best...
What do you use? |

I mate of mine who used to be a chef used to swear that if he ever burnt himself then he would burn the burn. It hurt like hell but help speed up the heeling process. |

That is crazy advice - it hurts less because you are damaging the nerves. Not good in the long term and there is a huge risk of infection.
You need to cool the burn, wrap a cool, damp towel or COTTON (never synthetic) cloth around it and keep replacing it. Some cooling gel like aloe vera or an antiseptic will help prevent infection. |
