Today, someone said I was pretty which was nice 
Well, they actually called me 'Pretty fucking dumb'. But you know, focus on the positives.

No scrap that. I've been dealing with an absolute moron at work all day today who can't do a simple task so I can complete my work.

OP, maybe should have told her that your pretty and she's dumb, so hopefjlly later it will be Pretty fucking Dumb 
Yes, focus on the positive, keep an eye on the other stuff, so you can make things better, just don't let negative things rule you or drag you down. |

Agreed.
I'm a pessimist and over analyse little details that just get my stuck in a downward spiral. I try and catch myself before I do, but something I don't. |

I would say I'm a realist, but clinging to shreds of optimism.
It's very rare indeed that I receive any compliments about my look.
I well aware of the fact I punch above my weight in this marriage and it's the missus that gets the interest.  |
