Do u think when people say can travel their should be some kind of distance indicator tick box as usually they only travel in their own home or city and this would act as another filter

I travel, how far depends on the person, I wouldn't want to set restrictions.

It's just frustrating u look at profiles you can accommodate now and then you find someone who says I can travel and billa bing billaboom they can't travel that far

"I travel, how far depends on the person, I wouldn't want to set restrictions."
but a guideline would surely be helpful say 20 mile radius especially up your way there's more choice

I've spoken to women who state 'Can travel' on their profile, only to discover they meant they will take a bus across town......

I think 'Own transport' would be better than 'Can travel'

I hear that but even them with cars won't often venture further than their own town

It would be handy for people who can't find the energy to explain it on the profile bio ....

Often travel around....

Have car and motorbike, live near Stratford on Avon / Redditch. Commute 30 miles to work everyday and back.

Often go on bike rallies, love going to southport, Leeds, Blackpool and down south to Brighton.

Not been to Scotland..... yet

We've travelled as close as a couple of streets away, to as far as 400miles away. That's a hell of a wide option

I think that would be much better. We live in the backside of nowhere and unless someone has their own car it's very impractical to get to our house. We once had a meet fall through from a gentleman, who lived only 15 miles away in Brighton, who said he couldn't accommodate but could travel on his profile. I guess he meant he could jump on a train and go to London. Had he explained in his profile that not only couldn't he accommodate, but he could also only travel to places where public transport went to, we would not have wasted his or our time in communicating.

I'd travel and I'd have people travel to me but only if they were happy with the fact that sex may not be on the cards. I can't commit to sex without seeing someone in the flesh, I'm sure most guys feel the same.

North of Okehampton, South of Bideford

Difficult that one, if you live near a motorway 30 miles flys by, if you are in a city travelling 15 miles takes takes forever

I live near a motorway! I'm literally 5 minutes off junction 34 on the m4! Easy to get to me, hint fucking hint.

I probably wouldn't travel that far for just a one off fuck. The potential of more then it would depend.

your imagination

I'll travel if I've a particularly good connection with someone and travelling isn't an option for them. Distance isn't an issue ~ I'd rather travel hundreds of miles to someone I enjoy spending time with than settling for mediocrity because its more convenient

That's the beauty of the forums mate; you discover people miles away you really would like to meet, then just need to find a way to get together

I suggested some time ago that a distance indication for travel could be useful. Even better if the site filtered users by whether you were in or out of their catchment area

a quandary, could you change my mind?

A willingness to travel distance seems on the face of it a good idea, but opens up issues for more abuse if you might not want to travel quite as far for some than others.

I'd prefer a time indicator instead. if someone told me "its xx miles away" I'd be confused so it would need to be more like "willing to travel 45mins in normal traffic".

Honestly I'm usually pretty smart
