Whether you're a Beatles fan or not, you can't deny that this album was a game changer in the music industry. 50 years ago today it was released and is now one of the most iconic albums in the world.

Do you have it? Play it often? I do but don't play it that often myself, but as it's a special anniversary I'll be popping it on whilst at work.

50 years of Love

I love this album. I love the cover. I've got it on Cd obviously. I could easily play the full album daily and never get bored. And the reprise is just a fantastic end.

You can't build something that big, without it falling down do you?

If you're not a fan, you probably wouldn't have, but if you get a chance to listen to it, give it a whirl

I've not listened to it but know it as I remember going to the cinema to see the film with the Bee Gee's starring in it. X

To really appreciate its impact, I think you would have had to have been around at its release. Their peers at the time were blown away by it.

Its a good album, but like every Beatles album, it has weak songs on it. The great thing for me was on vinyl you could flip to side 2 and skip track one, Within you, Without you.

IMO Abbey Road and Revolver were much better albums.

Revolver does have some great songs on it, just played that one now, think I'll be having a Beatles day at work, the white album just starting.
