"Would you have meets with prisoners, even if just socials, before full release? Would you filter by crime type? I've never been inside, in case you're deterred from meeting me " you might of met prisoner's without knowing it |

I once spent the night in the cells for jokingly toe-punting a copper up the arse outside a kebab shop in Wandsworth. It was only a light tap.
Turns out they don't find that sort of caper at all funny. |

Yes. I was borh hugely shocked and fascinated by the idea that someone in control of the general public's safety, who has an incredibly tough job, didn't enjoy being mocked by a d*unken idiot.

I have a friend who inadvertently brought home a former armed robber. She only found out because her flatmate recognised hem as a former client from her previous job in the prison service. |

In the 1990s a friend of mine dated a guy who'd been in for armed robbery. Him and his co-robbers had got caught because as they came out of the village post-office they'd just done over, taking off their balaclavas, a bus load of Japanese tourists turned up, all happily snapping away
I wouldn't see an ex con. |

I met a lady who'd been in open prison in Tutbury some years ago. She looked like Sporty Spice & told me she was gagging for cock.
I wished I'd taken her up on it. |

Some prisoners get let out when they are close to release to do work in the community etc. I know of one who was a voluntary IT tutor when I was a volunteer. |

This brings back a nice memory from my old swinging days back in the day of contact mags, long before the internet.
I put an ad in and one of the replies was from a lass who was doing time for robbing off her employers. Well I'm the sort of man who believes everybody deserves a second chance in life, so replied.
To cut a long story short on her release I met her and shagged the arse off her for a good few months.
Thanks OP had completely forgotten about that till now |

People always say "As long as you're not a serial killer".
How many people do you have to kill before you are classed as a serial killer?
If it's more than 7 I'm ok, any less I'm fucked!!!

Well yeah, I'd meet a guy that had been to prison for certain offences but not others, i.e. If he was partial to a bit of raping and murdering then I'd pass him by. |

After I posted this I saw news of a supposedly dangerous prisoner on the run.
I admire people for their honesty and particularly for learning from their mistakes and wanting to repay society
It's easy to shag first though, before you know that they're just on day release etc |

I would have to declare it because of my job, i wouldn't want to lose my job. What's wrong with me saying no ?
Apart from the problems it would cause in my job i wouldn't want to anyway because i have had enough of criminals trying to wreck my life. I simply wouldn't trust them either. |

I once got talking to someone from pof,he didn't drive and his longest relationship was a year. I queried this as it seems a little strange for someone in his early forties. He told me as the conversation was heading toward's meeting that he's actually been in prison for the last 19 year's.
The conversation on my behalf slowly came to an end... |

So, there are 3000 calls a week to r*** crisis lines in England and Wales alone. That's a lot isn't it!
What are the chances we've come into contact with one of these accused?
I, personally, have stopped two r*** in my life (I was cut for stopping the second).
The guy got a custodial. For wounding me not for the r*** because that girl was so beat down and scared she found refused to appear in court.
That guy now has a family is now on pof and other sites.
You think he publicised it or people made the distinction of what he was? You think you can make the distinction, or - he will offer the honest appraisal of what or who he is.
No he wont. Neither would you.
Because for the great majority on this fuck site it's a game and your (you're) looking for something to fit your ideal / illusion or alternative lifestyle.
Otherwise you wouldn't be on here you'd do it on Facebook and fuck the consequences.
It is a fuck site (dress it how you will) and it is displaying flexible virtue which is all the more emphasised in the forums echo chamber. It's not bad it's just reality.
Example...famous actor punched the b'jesus out of his wife. 3rd time broke her jaw. Today... Women adore him men want to be him.
There's a really simple study the Dutch carried out on flexible virtue within 'communities'. It's an excellent read and it parallels exactly this subject.
It highlights how people within the community display flexible virtue based on which side of the transgression they are and how the benefit fits their desire.

Flexible virtue means nothing. A sex offender is different to a shoplifter. Dress it up how you like.
Anybody can hide things. That doesn't change the principle.
Your comment was against people who said 'depends what they were in for'.

Suppose criminals need love too. There's loads of documentaries on this and some women seek out prisoners to be in relationships with, some get leathered and wonder why? hmmm. some live happy relationships. So I'm guessing it's about the person not the crime. |

trouble is, you would have no way of knowing what crimes they had committed, you'd have to take their word for it, unless it was something very well publicised. And as for women who target men inside, i read an interesting book years ago , the researcher found not a single one who had not been violently abused by men in the past...with a long term prisoner, they can get all the love and romance (after a fashion), but guy can never actually hurt you...very sad, but i can sort of see the rationale.. |

Flexible virtue means nothing. A sex offender is different to a shoplifter. Dress it up how you like.
Anybody can hide things. That doesn't change the principle.
Your comment was against people who said 'depends what they were in for'.
Do you see a shoplifter and a sex offender as the same?"
Point well missed.
My point is you can't distinguish...
Unless you have swinger spidey sense...

Ok, the original question was, would you meet a prisoner.
A reply was 'depends what they are in for'.
Your (paraphrased) answer was that that is hypocritical.
So, if you knew the persons offence, would it make a difference, or are you saying it is irrelevant? |

Well let me see...
A shoplifter steals stuff from a shop and a sex offender committed crime with a sexual element to it. Seeing as we're about to engage in sexual activity, I think the thief poses the lesser risk of harm.
