My daughter's good friend has two mothers. One was previously her father. Her brother was also born female. Both of her moms are wonderful, and I honestly would not have guessed one was born a man when I met her.
This friend, though straight, was caring and openminded about my daughter's sexuality (bi), even from quite a young age.
In her family, at least, gender definitions had little meaning.
So yes, I suppose it did affect my life--until then I had never met any transgendered people. Made me realize at the time how little I knew about sexuality. |

Im just genuinely interested .. the programme I watched today was very thought provoking ... I understand trans people have a journey they must make ...
Just wondered if any children OF transgender people wanted to share how they feel / felt .....and how it has affected their lives ..... if at all . |
