You know when you hear a song that you absolutely love and buy the CD album on the strength of it.
3 'recent' ones for me have been
The Temper Trap : Conditions
Snow Patrol : Eyes Open
and somewhat 'contraversially'
Adele : 21
I loved '19' and on the strength of that and 'Rolling in the Deep' but have got to say the rest of the album did very little for me.
Obviously it has sold very well so must have substance but it just didn't hit the spot for me.
Now on the other hand, one album that I was surprised with was Cee Lo Green 'The Lady Killer' - probably because I didn't expect some of the nods it had to classic soul. |

one that instantly springs to mind is Metalica - Load, being a fan of Metallica for some time I had been looking forward to their then latest release, jeez I was sooo disappointed.
I'm sure there are more so I may pop back to express.  |
