We are about 15 mins outa Pontypridd and we do go to Crawley in west sussex 2-3 times a year so get in touch !! |
We know that some people dont give a toss about veries but dont you think thats sumone who hasnt been photo varied ,cam or pik varied or meeting in person varied should be banned off the site after 6,theres no exuse for not gettin photo varied on fab ???????????????????????????????? |

Firstly can I just say - and I know Rugby will tell me off and I apologise in advance but the compulson is too strong and its overtaking me.
Can you please say verified, and verification, you know with a E instead of A, because my mind won't stop thinking about it

Vari's don't mean anything, I was hounded by a guy on here who has atleast 4 profiles and everytime I blocked him he would start a new profile and verify himself from one of his other profiles, then hide it so he still kept his verified tick!
All i can say is just be very very careful x |

Peter Tobin could get himself photo verified if he held up a bit card n got an inmate to take his pic, dont put too much store in photo verified and possibly i coulda put it more subtle stylee, but you see what i mean, verifications or veri ify cations,lol |

Luckily this site isn't run by a totalitarian control freak so no, users aren't forced to veri themselves if they don't want to. You, on the other hand, have the option of not allowing non-verified members to contact you.

If someone doesn't believe that I am who I say I am then quite frankly I don't care!  
Or are you talking about certain people? Why is it your business what other peope choose to do? There are plenty people who are verified by whichever means and I think even admin have given you the choice of allowing who contacts you. If it bothers you so much then change your preferences. You are in control of your own profile only. |

I'm not photo verified, I have photos and veri's though.
It's each to their own.
I've been around so long that I tend not to even look at verifications now, I use my instincts to gauge the person I'm thinking of meeting.
Never been let down yet. xx |

all that photo verification does it that you know how to use a computer and put a pic up...
for example...
it doesn't tell me if the height you put up is correct
it doesn't tell me if the age you put up is correct
it doesn't tell me if the build you put up is correct
it doesn't tell me if you are a timewaster or not
it quite frankly doesn't tell me if you are a prize arse or not....
tell me how photo verification can get round that lot and i'll happily do it... until then... nah!!! |

Shutup its just a question as i cant get ppl who dont get varied at all coz recently the fake profiles and the timewasters have increased 10 fold ,must be the summer months but i think fab should atleast make ever1 get photo varified at least right from the off set as what harm can it do ??? |

I'm not photo verified, couldn't see the point of it as I am multi verified with meetings I have had with other members....both socially and more intimate meets.

I think your all being a bit harsh to the OP, if I had my way I'd force you all to scan the photo page of your passport, 2 recent utility bills showing name and address, and a copy of your last payslip showing employers name and address and phone number. I'd like to know childrens names ages and scholl attendance records, but realise that may be a bit too far. I am a reasonable enough guy after all! |

After I got photo-verified I faked a photo verification in Photoshop to see if I could. It said 'LisaLipgloss Fabswingers' but it was a pic of somebody else holding a sign up with my handwriting blended into it.
Site admin warn they can be faked. All pics can be faked so I just don't believe them. It's also partly why I keep myslef hidden and never send out facepics. I'd have sent hundreds out to god knows who and I haven't had hundreds of meets in return.
I once stumbled upon an east European site which had stolen pics of some TVs I actually know and I've seen a GG I knew on MySpace show up on a Hollywood porn site directory.
I've seen a well dodgy profile that was obviously fake but had two veris (not veri's because they didn't belong to veri) both in the same day and both from the day the person joined. So there are people who'll give a bogus veri, possibly thinking it'll get them laid with this filthy little 21-yr old self-proclaimed slut who says she's into everything and loves getting dirty messages.
The profile disappeared quickly, no doubt after several reports to admin because it was so bogus it had Bill and Ted in the friends list.
There's software or hardware to fake a voice from male to female so even phone veris are suspect. Hell, they can run a video as a web cam so I'm even wary of those.
But a meet veri at least lets me know somebody can stop wanking long enough to leave the house for a meet. It's a start. |

not bothered reading the thread as know this subject has been done to death but see this is at least the 2nd thread on the subject you've started today...
will take a fair bet that concensus above is if you see a profile you like but isnt verified then move on to the next
when looking at profiles we do make a point of looking for the verified tick but if not there then just move on |

As far as I am aware, being photo verified is not compulsory in order to be part of the FAB community.
I do not believe why it needs to be either.
If one does not like those without verifications of a specific kind, then don't consider meeting that person.
It is not exactly rocket science, and it begs the question why so many moans and groans about verifications!
Another case of this is the way I believe it should be done, and anyone who disagrees is wrong?!
