Whatever you can afford to lose without stressing out over any losses! Maybe £5 to £10 a race? Perhaps a little more if you're feeling flush and can afford it!
Assume you're going to lose it all, and any wins are a bonus!
When I go I have a set budget for wagering.
Right pocket is my wagering cash.
Winnings go in my left pocket and are untouched!

1 £10 win
1 10 to place or £5 e/w on a decent priced outsider .
Stick a few quid on the placepot if you get a chance .
Smallish outlay can win a xecent sum of money & keeps you interested , if theres a gropu of you pick 3 or 4 horse per race & stick a 5iver or so in each . |
