Lichfield

Just shopping in Tesco and I've just seen flat peaches which look exactly like you imagine. Bought some. Will give verdict later.

Are they new or have I led a sheltered life?

I first heard of them a year ago, when my friend mentioned them.

At first I told him that his peaches got run over by a car and that he should return them to the store

They've been around for a while I think, I remember seeing them for at least the past 10 years - delicious, aromatic, juicy and fragrant

I'm obviously biased - but I think peaches should be perfectly rounded and juicy!

Otherwise my name means nothing!

Ha ha - the rounded ones are lovely too! Who wants a flat-peach bottom?

Have you seen the pizzas you have for pudding. Custard, marshmallows and all sorts of other madness.

I've tried them but didn't get on with them. They tasted like they were full of artificial sweetener, to my palate. Really weird. Lol

Morrisons used to sell red bananas, I prefer round peaches to donut ones.

Also noticed you the exotic fruits that used to be about when I was younger have disappeared, can't recall the last time I saw a star fruit.

Ginger
