Went to a house party in Stockport in 1994 and stumbled into a bedroom where a married couple were shagging. I offered my apologies for interupting them when the husband laughed and asked me if I wanted to fuck his wife.

Mr D's idea, as i told him that id had a d*unken night with a close friend just before i met him and that i wanted to experiement more. Only started out looking for women, some how it quickly developed into full on partner swapping with other couples...but damn its such a horny night  |

That is still a widely held view, and the only one some people will accept. We started swinging to "swap" partners with other couples, but that quickly moved on to include singles too, that we met at parties and clubs. |

To be honest, if that's what you think swinging is "couples partner swapping", then maybe you shouldn't be here. After all, you don't have a partner, so you can't be swinging can you????
However, I don't believe that's purely what swinging is, just one aspect of it, so in my eyes you belong here just as much as anyone else.

Swinging is just a label to replace wife swapping
I was on the scene when it changed from wife swapping to swinging
This was to take into account the many singles that were coming on the wife swapping scene
At the end of the day both are just labels for the people who enjoy recreational sex with others

Yes it was my exs idea.. and I hated it to start with.. but was coerced...
Found I quiet enjoyed the male attention that he then hated and we stopped..
Met my current wonderful Man and finding out what swinging is all about to us..

I would say it evolved for me many moons ago. I was gregarious and generous with my favours in my youth having some threesomes and moresomes while on 20 something holidays and i got more and more into it. But i do drift in and out and its not something that will take over my life. |
