Clean the wound and don't let anything get in. I doubt they can do anything with toes but it might be useful to ensure that it doesn't all knit back the wrong way.

If your trainer was that full of blood you need to go to a&e . They will be able to clean it up and check that it's not done any damage to the structure of the toe and foot.

They won't do anything about a break other than if you need it provide a support bandage and sandal to support the foot while it's healing. But get yourself there as soon as possible x

I broke my leg in a motorcycle crash a few years back. I went to hospital the next day when a nurse friend of mine saw me hobble into the pub. When i say I'm lazy, I'm not exaggerating.

Unless it's bleeding profusely and won't stop, no need to go to A&E. They won't/can't do anything about a broken toe. They will if possible strap the toe to the one next to it to keep it in place and prevent it from healing out of place or deformed.

In the meantime, plenty of Non-steroidal anti inflammatories such as Ibuprofen or Co-codamol for pain and inflammation and try and rest the foot. It is extremely painful.

Don't wear tight shoes or socks whatever you do and make sure that it doesn't turn pale in colour or blue/black and cold (other than the normal bruising which may have occured soon after the injury)

i lost a tooth once at glastonbury, i was working so camped right across from Michael eavis's gaff. i woke up with the whole tooth (well, from the gumline up) loose in my mouth, took me a min to work out what was going on. anyhow, i buried it in what was then the porch of my tent so there's a little bit of me at glastonbury for ever more.

either that or an army of skeletons will rise up against mr eavis at some point

Don't go spoiling it - he was enjoying his LAMT.

It's true.

I can confirm there was a droplet of blood on the trainer. The man is owed sympathy. Yeah yeah yeah.

Scarlet, jeez what a whiner?!

Did you cause this accident, Estella?

Seems a little suspicious, Estella?

Gimme a brake disc ladies!

No seriously, I've lost mine.

Haha is that the same one that dropped on Clems toe by any chance? "

I'm waiting to get the blame somewhere as it was the brake disc from my car. ..

"If your trainer was that full of blood you need to go to a&e . They will be able to clean it up and check that it's not done any damage to the structure of the toe and foot.

They won't do anything about a break other than if you need it provide a support bandage and sandal to support the foot while it's healing. But get yourself there as soon as possible x

Get someone else to drive.

Well she's had a couple of beers, and has just started painting the spare room..... seems a shame to stop her....

She's busy with some bloke sending an actual message.

If it swells up and changes colour make sure you get a picture for us.
