plymouth

just returned from our 4 day camping trip in Chedder. ( and i bet none of you missed me)

loved being free from the everyday humdrum of housework, sorting out family crisis, no phone calls.

loved waking up to the sound of the birds in the trees above the tent. the feeling of not being lazy when your snuggled up in your sleeping bag reading and listening to the rain outside.

hate the fact that i woke up this morning to find that miges had attacked me in the night,, 2 bites on my arm, a line of them on my back and worst of all.... one on me fanny..

but as much as i loved/ hated it.... it dont half make you appricate the fact that when your home..

you dont need to get dressed to walk to the loo and shower block, that you can make a cuppa with out waiting for the rain to stop so you can light the stove to boil the kettle..

that i can have a shower for more then 1 minute without putting in more tokens .

ohh and looking forward to lying on a bed that i dont need to blow up.....

my question is ,, when you have come home from a holiday/trip away from home.. what one thing are you most looking forward to?

Being warm and dry! I spent last weekend at Youtopia for the camping weekend and it pissed it down for a considerable amount of time. Everything was damp!

Get a modern caravan and you can still enjoy all you mention, but without having to put up with the downsides.

My cat, as she cannot join me and the dog on camping trips!

I did not sleep well the first night I got home after my most recent trip, probably because I was missing the sound of the rain and the wind, as the house was soooooo quiet!

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

In 1984 I had to share a two man tent with another couple & our terrier type mutt while I fucked my g/f.

Pleased to report Hector showed no signs of even wanting to join in.
