I look for a good veggie option and reasonable prices along with a nice ambiance. I've given up on finding really good service in UK restaurants. 
Bad food, bad value for money, or exceptionally bad service will make me not return.

A menu I like the choice of a few options, not overly busy and tables clean and cleared away quickly after the previous diners. Service with a smile and not having to wait forever helps keep me there, music at a level you hear but don't want to get up and dance on the tables, so subtle, not loud and clubby. |
