No. Sorry. As much as I Try I can't the hang of the things !
Am I alone in thinking it's odd that the people who invented paper, gunpowder, kites and load of other stuff haven't yet worked out that a pair of knitting needles is not a good way of getting food from a plate to your mouth ?

the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands |
They are simple to use so long as you remember that you bring the bowl of food to your mouth and reduce the distance also many people hold the chopsticks far to far along the length of the chop stick and not right towards the eating end. I started eating with chopsticks as a baby in Hong Kong, and wouldn't eat oriental food with anything else! Though this trend to supply crap plastic or wooden chopsticks in most of the fusion and chinese restaurant chains nowadays does my head in! What's happened to traditional ivory chopsticks?

The other point to consider when using chopsticks is that in the orient where they are predominately used they cook their rice to a 'sticky' consistency which makes eating it all the more easier. In the West sticky rice is not really favoured and makes eating rice dishes here all the more difficult. |

Only for those who cannot work out how to use them.
Never a problem for me, however, I have been using them all my life! |
