People reply in their own time at their own pace. If they get abusive when you aren't paying them immediate attention would you want that in a real life situation? |

ignore. wouldn't even reply to them.
don't block if you get a buzz of watching them get more demanding and insultive over time. 
there's one dick round here who kept messaging me and demanding i block him if i wasn't interested, i ignored him for weeks and left him to spam my inbox instead. i'm not here to be told what to do. |

I used to have a pen friend at school (no email then!) and I sent her a 5 page letter but cut it up and sent her a bitsta time. My brother said I was a serial killer in training but it made it worth the wait. She was from Puerto Rico. I still have her photo |

I get around to messages in my own time and demanding messages will usually get the lowest priority.
If someone repeats unreasonable behaviour then I discontinue contact, however good in some respects an offer may have appeared.
If they can't show respect early on, then it will be potentially missing all of the way with them.
Quickest low stress option is to block and delete, then forgetting that they ever tainted your life.
I may explain to some that I don't usually meet quickly and am often unable to reply quickly.
Petulant, immature me-me-me people generally can go and play with themselves. I am not their carer nor parent to help them navigate the adult world, with their large needy baby self to disfigure my existence.
My advice is to cut your losses quickly.
Or we could arrange a mass get together of them, whilst we pelt them with something |
