Aftera day of sweaty love making, whoelse likes to unwind with a board game? Which is the best... It has to be Sherlock Holmes Baker Street 221b - Cluedo for the elite

There's a game I love, called Diplomacy. It's the simplest, yet most complex game ever.

The actual mechanics are really straight forward, the complexity comes from dealing with the other players.

You can't win alone, but only one person can win!

The only problem with the game, is it really needs a weekend to play it properly! So I have only played it F2F a few times...

Having said that, I went to boarding school (see what I did there ) and we used to play Risk. We had 2 boards set up next to each other so you had to conquer both to win. The games could go on for several days sometimes

Looks interesting, whats the ideal number of players to balance time and fun in your opinion?

I think 5 is probably the minimum number, with 6 being a good number.

One problem with the game is, as it takes so long, when someone is knocked out, it could be a bit boring waiting!

There are lots of variants and different maps available though, including a couple of games designed to work faster.

I have a cupboard full of them. Next time you visit, you can choose

I like chess and draughts, monopoly, Game of Life and silly ones like mousetrap and frustration.

We have some fabulous house rules for monopoly for naughty fun!

You have to kiss another player passing go, persuade your gaoler to let you out if you go there, and landing on free parking costs an item of clothing
