Stand out male profiles...

Morning fab peeps...mainly aimed at the ladies of fab. We all know man out number woman on here, so was wondering what makes the successful male profiles stand out? Ie certain types of photos, content of bio or verifications...or have I just answered my own question? That said there are some profiles who don't seem to have much of the about ie not even one pic, that seem to be incredibly successful when it comes to meets. I must point out I'm not looking for multiple veris as my profile states, just curious. |

The answer is nothing and everything. Everyone is different so what a lady might like from one profile, the next lady might not. You can't please everyone and if you try, you'll please no one. Just be yourself. |

Personally, I like a profile that shows some wit and humour (but not overtly crass) or some genuine vulnerability/openness which makes the chap feel more rounded/less daunting, and where his personality shows through. If I'm moved to laugh my snark or wit, or moved by genuine feeling then you've started my mind to connect. If my mind is tickled, and then you've some decent pics (which is a broad area but mostly means you took care and made the pics look appealing) then I'm intrigued. |

I think that advice applies to any profile, not just single guys.
Too much self deprecating is a turn off. But when see profiles where people bang on how awesome they are, we just move on. |

Women are more social and need more social confirmation : the man is a worthy man, set apart from the other scum because Jenny and her bingo wings left a veri and said so. Even if Jenny is a rotter. |

I take veris with a pinch of salt. They wouldn't be why I'd think a particular profile was good.

Reliable veris then. It's well documented in the big five personality traits. Women require more confirmation from the group. Simon Baron Cohen has even compared autism and associated traits to be an extreme "male brain" |
