I don't know about you but I always like to have *something* to look forwards to as an incentive to trudge through the working day, whether it's an upcoming holiday, short break, an event or a visit from a friend. Whatever.

I'm currently looking forwards to a nice weekend break by the coast in a couple of weeks, heading down straight after work on Friday and then back late on the Sunday.

What have you got upcoming that you're looking forwards to?

Brighton - even Hove!

I'm going to the south of England show soon and have a day next week to nip over to Calais and beyond for a day out.

Well I have got a holiday booked for myself and my kid's,however they tend to be glued to their phones being teenager's until I threaten them that is,so it tends to be like going on holiday by yourself . I need a man!

I'm having a few days off with the kids next week during half term, we've not planned what we are doing, but I'm looking forward to some time with them where we're not all rushing about.

Going back to bed. The morning is not going to plan so far. Daughters school bus didn't turn up. She's doing GCSEs so had to take her myself.

Otherwise I'll throw in Billy Oceon concert at Lincoln Castle in June with Heather Little

Fossil hunting with the mini beast this weekend.

I wasn't in charge of hotel booking this time so we've ended up at a Christian hotel. No bar, prayer services and communal tables for breakfast.

In the short term, sunbathing (hopefully) in the garden this weekend.

A big family celebration the weekend after that (where I may hear my dad's voice - on DVD - for the first time in almost 26 years (gulp))

Green Day in Hyde Park beginning of July.

Two weeks in Cyprus at the end of August.

Getting two kittens soon after that to complete my cat family

Just had my passport back wit the visa approved, so I'm looking forward to seeing my partner who is working in China in less than two weeks time. Then it's back home with as much as I can bring back, because next time we will see each other is in August, a week before we get married! In the meantime, I have started a new profile for us both, hidden until we start married life together. Well, that's how we started and nothing is a secret between us!
