"just wondering what people think of big tattoos on women. Sexy or butch? personally i find them sexy lets hear your views"
I have a small tattoo and a medium tattoo. I will be getting some more medium to large tattoos, so I hope they don't put too many men off. I love them! |

Lots of people dont like large tattoos on women, i have a couple of big ones, i have a half sleeve on my right arm, but sadly the guy i used died of cancer before it was finished so it had to stay a half sleeve instead of the full sleeve it was ment to be, i am booked in on the 17th august for the first sitting of my next tattoo with is going to be a full sleeve on my left arm as i decided to leave my right arm a half sleeve and start again on the other side lol, i also have quite a large tattoo on the top of my right thigh, i have been turned down by guys for them, not because they mind tattoos but more because of the size of them i think, so its going to get even tougher when my left arms finished lol
But what do you do? not have something you want done incase some guy your never going to meet again wont fuck you or do what you want and put up with the odd turn down?
Personally swinging isnt that important to me to care about what anyone off here actually thinks about me, so i'll have it done
Plus as a single woman who meets single guys i get far to many offers from guys who do want to meet me to worry abiut the ones who dont |

personally tattoos dont do anything for us. like most things that are 'fashionable' there comes at time when they are not!
cant help but look at my nana (who is 82 and no tattoos) and think that in 40 years time nana's are going to look so different with all their tats on show |

I like those flower stem with orchid type flowers that wind around the torso and stop just under the breasts. I've seen some lovely examples of those, but some of the nicest body art I've ever seen were drawings that had been painted on with semi-permanent ink.
Search google for japanese body art + lotus to see what I mean. |

Big tattoos on women: absolutely hideous!
Two of my beautiful daughters have big tattoos. My eldest has one between her shoulder blades, and her dead brother's name up her arm. She's getting married next year and we're going shopping for her wedding dress in Harrod's and New Bond Street: I can just see her in a gorgeous designer dress...and all that ink!
Her fiance is ex-Navy, ex-Marine: don't get me started on his ink work! |

Personally I think it can be sexy- but it does depend on the quality of the tattoo- there are some hideous jobs out there!
A design that is well executed and imaginatively placed on the body can look amazing, an oversized "tramp stamp", not so much... |

I'm not keen on it myself. I do have a tattoo on the side of my foot, its a lily and its very feminine. I can admire some peoples designs and I'm all for individuality but personally I wouldn't have it on me.
I'm not keen on tattoos on breasts |

Don't really like tatts on anyone! Some look OK when they are first done, but they soon start to look very old! Not only that, but as someone said earlier, what is fashionable now will be "out" at some point!
I know people are going to say they don't care and they want them, but you want them NOW! Over the years people change, shape and outlook and we did laugh at the Bee to Canary quip above. BUT a tattoo is for life! Take a look at old tattoo's and ask yourself... Do you really want to look like a badly painted canvas in 25 years time?
Disclaimer... This is just the opinion of us as a couple. Others are able to make up their own minds. This in no way predjudices any group or section of the community and we will not disadvantage anyone who has a different opinion! |

I love tattoos on other people I think some are simply stunning works of art
I had a small one done when I was a teenager and I hate it with a passion now,I get bored so quickly that I would'nt dare have another one done and quite like that fact that my skin (apart from one small blip) is clear and tattoo free |

" Take a look at old tattoo's and ask yourself... Do you really want to look like a badly painted canvas in 25 years time?"
In 25 years time I shall be 71 and if I'm not pushing up daisies I shall be concerned more about when I will be pushing up daisies than some old ink picture on my arm.
That's the true beauty of tattoos - they look good when you're young and are inconsequential when you're old. |

Yeah, have to agree to a point, but there are a lot of very young people who are being sucked in to having tatts. A 20 year old will only be your age (ish) in 20/25 years and that could lead them to be shy of uncovering any large ones they have.
As an aside to all this... One of our daughters friends who had a childs name tattooed a few years ago is starting to regret that decision. Not about that actual Tatt... More that she has had two sets of twins since then and has realised that she now has to have them all tattooed!!! lol |

I adore tattoos, (I may have said this before!!) and again, the only thing that stops me having more, is lack of money.
My back is due to be finished in October, and when that is done, it will be covered, from shoulder blades to base of my spine. I adore my tattoos, they all have a meaning behind them, and I researched artists before they were done. All bar one, are done by the same artist, he will be finishing my back, as it was him that started it free hand.
I've often been asked what will happen when I'm old, and they look horrid. When I'm in my 70's+ I'm going to be more concerned about weeing myself when I laugh, or what day it is, then what my tats look like.
I had them done for me, to remind me of good times and bad times in my life, not for anyone else.

I have a smallish one on my back, but will be getting another, i was told once you get one you either hate it or get addicted to having them, i think im addicted to tattoo's and sex lol |

i like big dainty/girlie ones but not tribal ones
my friend has a gorgeous string of flowers down her side and thigh,
id prefer to see one larger ones than 50 small ones that are mix match in style |

Even though I wouldnt have any more tattoos, other than the little one on my foot, the description of these tattoos sounds really interesting |

Well tbh, if a woman had "I eat shit" tattooed in actual shit on her forehead it still wouldn't put most of you single guys off. Is there any angle you lot wouldn't try to exploit?
Just wonderin' |

"I pity the poor tattooist when he's working on a big bird
bet it's like sign writing a Sprinter Van "
when i was having mine done i actually asked if it was different working on a fat bird to a slender toned one, my thinking being squidginess (is that a word, no idea) and she said its just an area of skin, made no difference if fat or not |
