There is this website called habitica. It takes habits and tasks that you have to do and makes a sort of internet game out of it. You gain experience for your avatar when you complete tasks. If you don't do your work, your avatar dies. You can fight bosses, etc.
Marc got me into using it and now I'm hooked. It's a bit nerdy, but it works really well for household chores. You could give it a try.  |

There's 2 types of cleaning.
Round cleaning- where you clean round everything and square cleaning where you move everything and get in the corners.

Mega spring clean."
Start high so upstairs first. Strip all beds, empty all bins, take all glasses down if it's anything like my house. Feather dust preferably with a high sister around all corners and ceilings, around light fittings etc. Dust and polish all surfaces. Door frames, skirting boards, wipe pvc on windows and seals, clean inside of the glass. Bathrooms and easy and self explanatory. Hoover/mop everywhere last. Wash radiators with fabric softener so the smell goes through the house when they're on. |

That means pulling everything out and hoovering and dusting before you put back, sorting and tidying as you go! It looks worse before it looks better! Maybe one room a day? x |

Go outside for a minute and walk back in to your house and start cleaning immediately. Put your phone away and crack on!
It's the only way I can clean is if I do it as soon as I get in. If I sit down or have a cuppa tea that's it then, phones out, candy crush is being played, fucking about on here! |

I spent the most of last weekend gutting my kitchen (alone) and I am now without a kitchen, well it's in my front room, til maybe this time next week... I need cake... lots of it
Oh my kitchen (the room formerly known as was) spotless when I left it this morning for the fitter to do his thing.
I still need cake....  |
