who game geek ? if so what do you play ?
i hole my hands up im world of warcraft
 gose over bf head no idear what im going on about when i talk to my sis about it . been playing 3 years .not as much as i used to ,keeped busy other ways now

am nowhere near the gamer i used to be.
right now its mostly super street fighter 4 on xbox live. ive just bought myself a gamecube to play all my old zelda games, leading up to the release of skyward sword!
before this its been mostly hack n slashers. am still a geek at heart  |

We like games to warm up at meets, pass the pigs and rude cards when we can, as we find it both sociable and stimulating but some folks just like to dive in there!
Outside o that with family, real game players, triv, jenga, dingbats .......... and loads more. Weened on it. |

I must be the nearly guy then as I don't have a games console. I find them to be pointless and people who play them endlessly for hours and hours must have something missing in their lives to spend so much time on them.
As for the games themselves, we're told not to buy our kids cowboy outfits due to the violent nature of guns yet some of these games are so graphic they make a water pistol seem quite innocuous. I'd certainly be in favour of a ban on such violent games, there's no need for them. |

yup WOW player here aswell, play a lvl 85 human Fury Warrior as my main, Alliance on Ghostlands
Have been playing since Vanilla Beta, although do not play that much now work inteferes far too much

I do play games , in fact how geeky is this...I play online with other people and I talk to them via VOIP.
I have met a couple of women in my time off here that admit to liking Call of Duty etc!

I haven't tried WoW but used to play Warcraft over a decade ago. Dunno if it's the same game, an olde worlde RTS? I love me some RTS, notably the Command & Conquer series.
Also sports sims, especially Madden. Online Flash puzzle games. Driving games. And action adventure a la Hitman, Assassin's Creed, etc.
Got a Wii but nobody to play with. |

Back in the dinosaur days when the first playstation came out I was obsessed with Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto. As soon as I got in from work I was screaming at Lara to 'jump you fecking bitch', slashing zombies and working out clues and running over Hare Krishnas.
I did manage to stop eventually. Now I can't manage the Xbox or PS3 controllers, lost the coordination |

Wow is great fun, needs a bit of time investment though, its not the same game, its a online RPG set in the warcraft universe so the story is similar to the RTS versions, if you go to the web site you can get a free trial for 10 days. (get the Eu version though, the US one is different)
had played the old time C&C up to red alert, then recently found Generals and Tiberium wars at £15 for both in game last week, aint tried them yet |
