"Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dolph Ziggler will be match of the night
Closely followed by AJ v Owens"
Which is another way of saying that the best wrestling will come from people who learnt to wrestle outside of WWE, sorry best sports entertainment |

To expand the Indian market. Same reason they made Khali champion and not because Vince macmahon loves big sweaty men big sweaty men big sweaty men

Anybody remembers Wrestlemania15 when Big Bossman was hanged live on TV by the undertaker? This gave me the chills as a kid good acting on their side though.
I wonder if it would receive back lash if that was shown today |

"There's better ways to expand the market than making a low carder become Champion "
But this is cheaper. Give the Indian market someone to root for and get the coverage there to help get more spotlight on wwe in India while also generating the heat from the American crowds. Lousy way to do it but cheap as chips

Just watched an excellent (for once) comment by Dave Meltzer about why he had to be champ. He mentioned the promo Jinder which if you spoke the language could of been considered an babyface promo.
I think this move is bigger then Vince. It's no secret he's lost a lot of money from bad investments (XFL, that social media app I don't even remember what it's called) so from what Dave is saying in that [video I saw], makes sense.
And if Jinder's push is successful, don't be surprised years from that we see an Chinese World champion.
Hell, maybe even wrestling under 205. LOLz Vince and Paul and their homo-erotic obsession with Greek Gods. |

I'd like to hear the ways."
Have bigger live events/tours, have commentary teams in that language.
If it weren't big in this country and i was a fan id rather have the opportunity to go to a live event than have an Englishman as champ |

People required to be paid. To have the amount of clientele for EVERY WWE live event would drain profits. Same with larger events. It's why Raw/Smackdown mostly only do shows in US/Canada/UK.
The talent as champion is really irreverent where they are from. With Jinder, this is an rare thing. Yes, compared to Khali who (Can't believe I'm going to say this) was groundbreaking at the time. More so that Indians making big in an US dom'ed back then sport.
With Jinder is the chance to push him for his 'home' audience.
