Hey

What you can do is stay at the crown plaza or Novotel at excel and then jump on the cable cars over to the O2. Multi story car park behind crown plaza. Just type in hotels excel which is postcode e16 1xl

I think there is a a premier inn attached to the arena or at least next door to it. Try there, but prices will be sky high if there is an event on

Yes we looked at the one next door but couldn't find parking with it

Not sure if it's easier to go on the train
